2019-20 Coaching Staff

Barry Jones

8th Grade Silver and 7th Grade Silver


Barry Jones played college ball for St. Augustine's and post college trained with the San Antonio Spurs before a knee injury ended his career. Barry spent two years as a player development coach with the Spurs before accepting a coaching position with Word of God Christian Academy producing John Wall (Washington Wizards), TJ Warren (Phoenix Suns) and Torian Graham (Utah Jazz). While coaching at WOG Barry also returned to college and graduated becoming the first member of his family to do so. He has been a coach in the Skyline Boys Select program for the past seven years and owns and runs Kings Basketball Academy.  Coach Barry strives to teach skills on the court and in game situations that kids will apply in life and contribute to making them better, stronger people. Barry teaches in the Seattle School District and when he isn't working, coaching or training, he enjoys spending time with his children and family.

Joe Moore


Joe Moore

Joe began coaching basketball when his children played for Issaquah Park and Rec. He has been coaching youth basketball for ten years, the last five have been coaching SBSB teams at various grade levels. Joe has also spent time developing his coaching skills with local AAU programs.

Taheem Jones


 

Taheem Jones has been with SBSB for the past three seasons. Last season TJ took a position on the Skyline Boys High School Varsity Basketball staff and will assist Varsity again this season and is Heard Coach of JV.  TJ has coached with many area clubs, rounding out his coaching experience.

Alex Dieffenbach

6th Grade Silver


 

Alex returns to the Skyline Boys Select Basketball program after a couple years away; focusing on his work at American Red Cross and spending time with his family, wife Tiffanie, daughter Riley and son Matt. Alex brings years of coaching experience to the court and a solid understanding of kids and youth sports.

Ricci Greenwood


Ricci has been coaching with SBSB for many years at several grades. Ricci owns and runs Prospect Kids Basketball Club and has coached Girls High School Basketball.
